We are pleased to have you here.  South Central Missouri was a stronghold of participation in the defense of the state under the Missouri State Guard, and eventually the Confederacy.  Because of these deep roots this is a camp with emphasis on history and heritage.  We seek to honor our ancestors and to make others aware of their sacrifices.  Please let us know how we may serve you.

Date/Time: Second Thursday of the Month, 1:00 P.M.
Place: West Plains Library Meeting Room, West Plains, Missouri.

Charge to the Sons of Confederate Veterans:

"To you, Sons of Confederate Veterans, we submit the vindication of the cause for which we fought. To your strength will be given the defense of the Confederate soldier's good name, the guardianship of his history, the emulation of his virtues, the perpetuation of those principles which he loved and which made him glorious, and which you also cherish. Remember it is your duty to see that the true history of the South is presented to future generations."
